Wellington

Haere mai ki Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

Welcome to Wellington.

Te Whanganui-a-Tara is both the national capital and the creative hub of Aotearoa. Cuba St lies at the heart of the city championing both clothing and cuisine. Within a stones throw of Cuba St you can find the renowned Te Papa Museum, Wellington City Gallery and Wellington Cable Car. Alternatively, take a day trip to the coast and you will find Weta Workshops, based in Miramar, showcasing the famous works of Sir Peter Jackson. If you’re feeling like a scenic tour, a trip to Mt Victoria lookout or Brooklyn Wind Turbine offers spectacular views. Should you be lucky enough to catch Welly on a good day, pick up some treats from a local cafe and take a picnic to one of our many stunning shorelines.

We hope you enjoy your stay!
